Visit Odense Zoo by Public Transport

Odense Zoo is one of the easiest attractions to reach by bus, with a total of 350 daily departures.

If you're coming from Odense Central Station, there are 172 buses a day heading that way.

You can get to Odense Zoo via the following bus routes:

  • Route 55A–56A (Bellinge – Bullerup/Agedrup)
  • Route 85 (Skibhusene – Højby)
  • Route 100A/101–103 (Assens – Glamsbjerg – Odense – Munkebo – Kerteminde)
  • Route 400A (Faaborg – Odense)

Take the Bus to a Fairy Tale Experience at Hans Christian Andersen’s House

Getting to Hans Christian Andersen’s House is easy! In addition to the Odense Light Rail, you can take the following bus routes:

  • Route 35 (Seden Syd – Skt. Klemens)

  • Routes 55A-56A (Bellinge – Bullerup/Agedrup)

  • Routes 110-111 (Assens – Haarby – Nr. Broby – Skt. Klemens – Odense)

  • Routes 161-162 (Odense – Ørbæk – Svendborg)

In fact, there are 232 daily departures to the bus stops on Hans Mules Gade, including 118 departures from Odense Central Station.
From the Hans Mules Gade stops, it's only about a 200-meter walk to Hans Christian Andersen’s House.

Travel Back in Time – by Bus

Planning a visit to the Funen Village? It's easy – 212 buses run daily on the following routes:

  • Route 35 (Seden Syd – Skt. Klemens)
  • Route 75 (Seden – Sanderum)
  • Route 110–111 (Assens – Haarby – Nr. Broby – Skt. Klemens – Odense)
  • Route 400A (Faaborg – Odense)

Route 110–111 stops right in front of the village.
Route 400A stops approx. 1.3 km away, and routes 35 and 75 stop about 800 meters from the entrance.

We know a little walk is needed from some stops, but Sejerskov offers a charming path through beautiful surroundings leading up to the village entrance.

Ride the Bus to a Train Journey Through Time

The bus may not run on tracks, but it’ll get you straight to the Danish Railway Museum.

Accessible via Odense Light Rail, city buses and regional routes:

  • Odense Light Rail
  • City buses: 35, 55A–56A, 65, and 85
  • Regional lines: 110–111, 122, 130–132, 100A/101–103, 161–162, 200A, 300A, and 400A

The museum is so central that you only need to reach Odense Central Station and then you are almost there.

If you enjoy a walk or are arriving by train or bus to Odense, the museum is within walking distance from Odense Central Station.

Explore all of Funen and Langeland with a Day Ticket

Travel as much as you want around Funen and Langeland for an entire day.

Price: DKK 75 for all age groups.

  • Travel around Funen and Langeland with the FynBus buses and Odense Letbane (light rail)
  • The ticket is valid for the entire day of purchase and for journeys starting before 03.59 a.m. on the following day
  • You can free of charge take two children under the age of 12
  • The ticket is valid for trips with the FynBus buses and Odense Letbane (light rail). The ticket is not valid for trips in trains operated by DSB and GoCollective or Flextrafik (Plustur and Flextur, Teletaxi and Telerute)

Purchase the day ticket in the app RejseBillet.

It is also possible to purchase the day ticket in a physical version at the FynBus Kundecenter, at Visit Faaborg, Visit Nordfyn, SuperBrugsen Assens and later on at other selected selling points on Funen.

It is not possible to purchase the day ticket in cash from the driver of the bus.
